My name is Alleiah Keeley. I am a graduate student at Kent State University. I received my bachelors degree in K-12 Mild to Moderate Special Education in 2012. I am now working toward my master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education and apart of an Office of Special Education Programs funded Early Intervention training grant. I am currently participating in an internship at the Summit Board of Developmental Disabilities following families involved in their Early Intervention Program. Once finished with my internship this summer, I will be employed at The Ohio State University’s Nisonger Center as the Baby Buckeyes’ Teacher. My special interests and priorities include early intervention in natural environments, child engagement and family centered practice. I have experience presenting my child engagement research at Kent State University’s Research Symposium and Kent State University’s College of Education Health and Human Services’ Research Gallery. I am a proud member of the Council for Exceptional Children and Division for Early Childhood. I am looking forward to my future endeavors, as I continue to realize my potential in the field of Early Intervention.
